Quiet Day: Friday 3rd April

The Community at Mucknell Abbey are inviting you to join with us at home in holding a Quiet Day on Friday, April 3rd, which we keep every year in preparation for the start of Holy Week.

We are aware that so many of you will be worshipping alone at this time, and this is probably the first Passiontide in which the Community has had no guests. The Quiet Day is an opportunity to bring us together in prayer, and encourage those who are feeling adrift and anxious.

‘Silence is the strength of our interior life . . . if we fill our lives with silence, then we will live in hope’ – Thomas Merton
